They had witnessed His “death” on the cross.  He had lain in the tomb for two days.  They were in deep shock and mourning.  It looked as if the wicked, evil, and blind of the world had overcome and won.  This was not the way it was supposed to be.  He had come to set men free in the Way of Salvation and Victory!  He had prayed to honor and glorify the Father.  This looked and felt like dishonor and humiliation.  There seemed to be only death and defeat, and oh, such pain….but, it was only the second day!  Things were not as they “seemed” and were about to be revealed as the Lord had promised.  There was a new day dawning and a resurrection coming!  Total and complete victory had already been won!  The fullness of manifestation was coming though not yet seen.

If today, you find yourself in that place of “seeming” defeat and humiliation, if you feel that all is dead, if the pain seems too much to bear, if you know this is not the way the Lord said it would be, then this word is for you…..
No matter how it looks or feels to you where you are right now, it is only the second day!  Things are not as they “seem”,  but will soon be revealed as the Lord has decreed!  Open your spiritual eyes and see!  There is indeed a new day dawning, and a resurrection coming to you!  You have already been set free by Jesus Christ’s total victory on the cross!  The rains are coming!  The fullness of manifestation is almost upon you!  It shall be unto you as the Lord has said and promised!  Rejoice in truimph for your King reigns!!!
Hosea 6 (AMP):
1COME AND let us return to the Lord, for He has torn so that He may heal us; He has stricken so that He may bind us up.
2After two days He will revive us (quicken us, give us life); on the third day He will raise us up that we may live before Him.
3Yes, let us know (recognize, be acquainted with, and understand) Him; let us be zealous to know the Lord [to appreciate, give heed to, and cherish Him]. His going forth is prepared and certain as the dawn, and He will come to us as the [heavy] rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.
